Loose parts are things that can be used in open-ended ways. A lot of us know about loose parts play for children, but what about loose parts in the garden?
Loose parts in the garden could be:
- rocks (local rocks are my favorite)
- logs cut to different lengths
- sticks broken to different lengths
- half whiskey barrels
- pavers
- bricks
- pots
- ollas
